Our Mission:
At Aquatus, we’re on a mission to get families and friends together at the beach, while giving back to communities affected by natural disasters.
We understand each year communities around the globe are shaken by natural disasters. According to National Centers for Environmental Information, on average 81.1 billion dollars worth of damaged is caused by natural disasters per year (ncdc.noaa.gov). It became real to us when close family and friends were directly impacted by a hurricane.
We made it our mission to help those affected recover and build back their lives. That’s why, we’ve committed to helping them restore their livelihood by donating a percent of each blanket purchased to nonprofits acting on disaster recovery.
Our team worked to design a beach product that would represent what we value most: spending time with those you love. Although there are many beach blankets on the market, we crafted what we believe to be the perfect beach blanket. A simple, practical, purposeful product that is lightweight, compact, easy to travel with, xtra large when folded out to accommodate your whole party, easy to clean, and easy to pack up. The Aquatus beach blanket was born.

For every blanket purchased, we donate a net proceed to Unicef USA, who receives Charity Navigator’s highest ratings for accountability and transparency and is included in CharityWatch’s list of top-rated charities.
