Washing your beach blanket is simple! Remove the blanket from its attached travel bag, wash on gentle cycle with cold water and lay flat to air dry! Make sure not to use chlorine bleach if any detergent is used.
Aquatus is a small business located here in the USA. All blankets are engineered, observed for quality control, and shipped from Georgia or Texas. Our products are manufactured at select factories in Asia.
When the blanket is stored in the attached travel bag it is 9 inches in height, 5 inches in length, and 5 inches in width. When the blanket is in use it is 10ft by 9ft.
The beach blanket weighs 1lb 7oz.
Our blankets are designed for sand to easily slide off with a simple shake or wipe. The lightweight nylon material is not made for the sand to fall through.
Every beach blanket comes with 4 sturdy metal stakes to secure to the sand or grass via the 4 sturdy corner loops! This keeps the blanket from being blown away.
Aquatus beach blankets are water-repellent, not waterproof. Waterproof material is not soft and comfortable to lay on and can get very hot quickly(Think of a rough tarp). Water-repellent means that the blanket repels water on contact so if a water droplet makes contact with the fabric it will not immediately soak in like a towel, but the water will roll off the blanket. Some water will be absorbed into the fabric and some will repel. If you are wet on our beach blanket, for sure some water will be absorbed by the soft parachute nylon material, but you should not worry as it dries extremely fast.
Our beach blankets do not retain heat which allows you to stay cool on a hot summer day.
